    Default Bose in Avant ? – 29-10-2007,06:43 PM
    How comes I can't choose BOSE as an option when configuring an a4 avant SE at audi.co.uk ? Instead there is a 10 speaker 150 watt system which is free. The Bose comes up if I choose a saloon. Any ideas people?

    Don't worry about this now, still don't know why I couldn't spec bose in a 2.0(170)Quattro Avant but sticking with what I've got for now anyway.

    I got the Bose "free" in March in my A4 Avant, not sure that you're actually missing much.. sure the sound quality is good but cars are very poor acoustic environments and my uneducated ears can't really tell the difference between the 10 speaker and Bose systems.

    I guess I'm glad I didn't pay extra for Bose.
