Audi Allroad C6 4F 2006

You may be interested in my experiences with this supplier. 5 years ago the shock absorber element in my front right strut gave up. The price of new Audi struts was very high and I found a supplier in Germany who sold me a pair of remanufactured struts for 500 Euros each. At the time there were no non original struts available, now the likes of Ebay are flooded with them. At the beginning of August the airbag membrane on the OS front split, leaving the car body resting on the tyre. I looked around to see what was available, there were Chinese copies on Ebay for 400 Euros, but after a nightmare when I bought a Chinese plasma cutter (Don't do it!) I saw that Aerosus was offering new struts for £600 with a 2 year guarantee. So I thought for the peace of mind I would spend the extra and ordered one. It was delivered very quickly and I fitted it straight away. Next morning I went out to the car and the car had dropped down to the tyre again. When I started the car it quickly rose again, I checked and there were no leaks at the air connection. I told the supplier and as I had urgent need of the car drove it for a while. If I parked the car with the front right uphill it took two days to drop so the leak was weight dependant. After about 10 days there was a sudden screaming from the top of the strut and the car was successively lifting and dropping so I could not drive anymore. I sent the strut back (at my cost), they replaced the pressure valve at the air connection and returned it with a picture of the strut connected to air at 8bar left in a bucket of water showing no air leak. but the strut was fully extended and under no external load or compression. I put the strut on again and, guess what? The car had dropped to the tyre again next morning. I removed and returned it this time at their cost. They sent me a new strut, happy boy was I! It was evening all was looking good, all 4 corners up, thoght I would go for a short run to test it out. Got 1 mile, suspension warning lights came on, body dropped onto the tyre, it was a dangerous bit of road so I drove for a mile and parked in the cemetery car park (apposite?) I jacked the car up but it was too dark to do anything. In the morning I returned and someone had dropped the car and stolen the Audi jack (had to buy a second hand one for 29 Euros. There was nothing I could do except get a breakdown truck to take me home 2 miles (140 Euros) and the front underside got graunched it was so low to the ground. I removed the strut, it seems that the membrane had burst, and returned it to Germany and the supplier offered a refund, received it today, I paid £602,33p they paid me £594.94p. So the question is would I recommend this supplier HMMMM Let me think
