    Hello Kim

Your head up mirror is now coated with only a few marks on it, so it should work very well.

We will send you a PayPal request for £36 and as soon as this is received, we will send the mirror to you.

    Best regards

    Terry

Hello, and thanks for the tips!

Had the same problem on my Audi A7 with internal HUD mirror. Bought cuttable plastic " mirror " for 3€ and taped that on there and works perfectly!

    Hello everybody!
I have same issue with my audi a6 c7 HUD also. And while I'm from Lithuania it is more difficult to send for refurbishment this mirror and wait for month like mentioned in this site refurbishments, I decided to find a plastic stick mirror. And it seams it is quiet ok
Off course there are so differences from original view, but when I know, other eye don't recognize I think that this quality is little bit lower. And to disassemble top plastics takes about 10min, to get all back about 15min (not first time )
Here I can show you what was result before...
    image0(4).jpg
    And after...
    image1(6).jpg
For me is other question, while all HUD around is with radiators, how match degrees is inside and can this plastic keep enough??? Cause I think that it gets scratched from high heat and long period! It is just mine opinion.

but there are one BUT! While I have take this mirror out of the car, it was look like, like below:
    image0(4).jpg

On the side was ok, like should be all surface! But when I have left it in my car for 2 nights, and outside we got here about -3 degrees, look what happened with good surface!
    image0(5).jpg
Also get scratched and not visible anymore. So who is bigger enemy, heat or cold?

Now only time will show how my option will keep?!

About plastic witch I found. I was looking in aliexpress and so on, but I was lucky to find in my country (Lithuania) and got it over 2 days. 9 pcs just 3 euros
    image2(1).jpg

Same you can find everywhere I think! Also link from our page how it looks like.

Good luck for everyone with this fix and stay health!

At the moment is snowing outside, so quality little bit worse than in reality of bad focus!

    Hi guys
Having same problem after some garage repairs on A7 (can’t prove it was done during repair )
Will try Dainis’s repair stickyback mirror £6
Will post my results before during and after completion .
£6 seems a great fix if it works
