Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and I am a new owner of a VW golf. This is my first car so I am not very experienced with these things.
Here's what happens with my golf. When I start the car in the morning, I have to press the gas pedal or the revs will fall down and the car will shut off. Once it's warm, it behaves better.
After a few miles, especially in the city trafic it feels like the pedal it's loosing the response, and the car becomes to lag. When I try to park the car, it shuts down. I have to keep high revs to prevent this.
I tried to just turn the steering wheel, and it shuts down again.

I took it to a garage, and it was showing 3 codes. I had a photo of the codes.
00533 -lambda regulation
-upper stop value
-intermittent

00557 -power steering switch
-short circuit to ground
-intermittent

00533 -idle speed regulator
-lower stop value
-intermittent

The mechanic said that it needs to adapt the throttle body. He tried to, but it wasn't successful. We changed the throttle body, to test the adaption again and it didn't work either. I think he was using a program called Delphi.
I don't want to intervent to the mechanic work, but it's been a week and he doesn't have a solution yet. I am not sure if I have to replace some parts just to find out that it wasn't necessary.

I would really appreciate your advices.

Thank you in advance.
