Hi all. I am trying to source a replacement AC Compressor to Condenser Hose for my 2003 A6 1.9TDi with engine code AVF. The part number is 4b0260701d.

I had a spare second hand hose but it only lasted a couple of weeks before it let go - presumably just due to age. My original hose is not perished but there was damage where the metal coupling meets the rubber part - this was repaired a few years ago and worked fine until the repair failed, but I have now learned its illegal to repair these hoses because of the high pressure.

Apart from having to go to the main dealer and pay for the genuine item, does anyone know of any other places I can try? There seem to be very few for sale on ebay and I did also try partsgateway with no success at all.

Its a proper pain in the neck because when it was working it was icy cold and on an Avant in the warm weather its very much missed!
