I've been recording the error code 00575 for the last week or so, and rather predictably the cars been spending a bit of time in limp mode. I thought it was the vanes sticking, but I only cleaned the turbo out 18 months ago and the lever seems to move alright. I tried Mr Muscle earlier in the week, but no improvement. I took it for a spin earlier and thought the problem had sorted it's self out as performance was noticeably better, but that was short lived. After only a few miles the engine cut out and wouldn't start again.

I've searched the forum, but can't find any answers. Can anyone offer any help please, I'm desperate. Apologies if it's been covered before.

    Cheers guys.

Thanks Chris. I've had a bit of a tinker and I've found the cause of the 00575; the actuator has become disconnected from the lever on the turbo. Access is tight, so I'm going to take it off tomorrow and refit it properly. Not sure how that would cause the engine to stop working entirely though.
