    Hello,

Looking for some advice on memory seat retrofit if possible?

I've got a 2013 a6 avant s-line with the manually adjusted seats (with electric lumbar support) and was looking to replace the drivers one as the leather side bolster was looking scuffed.

I've found some memory seats on eBay that look in good condition and am especially interested in these as there's a big height difference between my wife and I so memory seats would be great as the seats aren't much more expensive than the normal ones and can't find the leather on it's own.

Had anyone got any experience in retrofitting these as to whether it's possible and if I'll need more than the seats and the buttons/trim for the door?

I'm reasonably confident in taking trim etc apart after doing the full ami retrofit to the armrest which I'm happy to share experience from!

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for quick reply. Think I'd be ok with seats and buttons but the cp and if needed a new wiring loom would be one I'd be concerned about.

I looked into retrofitting heated seats and gave up. The wiring and coding and new control units proved too expensive.

One of the most expensive things you will probably need other than the seats is a new comfort module as I think it's different in the memory seats, the same part is used for retrofitting folding mirrors so if you got folding mirrors you might not need it. Last time I looked this was a £400ish part.

Its not that difficult tbh. As long as the 'new' seats are already memory version then you can fit them. If not then dont bother. You will need a new loom to connect the door switch to the door module, CAN wires to connect into original CAN network and a wire to connect to the seats to the door through the 'A'post connector.
Th full electric seats will work off the original car loom but thats it.
CP removal is a must for the memory function to work. Oh and access to wiring diagrams too

Thanks, I have elsawin so should be able to get the wiring diagrams but guess the CP will be a dealer job and making sure I have the right looms and other parts! Is the comfort module in the bottom of the seat?
