hi, im thinking about re-mapping my a4 as it is only 100bhp, just been to a german specialist close to work and he does the upgrade boxs but not the re-map, he has one on his audi a4 and raves about it, im a bit unsure, does anybody know about these upgrades? price quoted was £350 for the box and half an hour labour, any feedback would be appreciated. thanks

If you go with a tuning box, you should be able to get a good 'Steinbauer' or similar box for around £60ish, and fit it in 3mins.

    A remap is preferable.

£350 for a tuning box!? Bloody hell, I've only ever seen them around £150-£200 at most, and thats for a decent quality dragon digital box too.

You can get a good remap for that money from plenty of reputable places, one having already posted in this thread.

    Hi Mate,

You're looking about 40hp and 80nm torque. We are having a Remap and Rolling Road day at Chipped UK on the 4th November. It's a really good deal.

Click on the link in my Signature and take a look, will not take you long to get down from Stockport, few guys came down from that way last time.

    Cheers Mark
