    Hi,

Getting rather frustrated trying to work out which of the myriad of Audi websites I need to log in to change my 'send to car' ID, since I believe Audi have decided (without telling us) that you can no longer use an email address as the ID!!!! Well, it no longer works on Google anyway!

Any help appreciated before my laptop goes through the window....

btw - do I have to pay for Audi Connect after my car is 3 years old?!!!

    Thanks

    Loz

Hi, I found that the new site didn't work properly with Google Chrome, but works fine with Firefox or IE.

No, the service is still free. However, it's almost not working at all, I'm not able to log in to the so called "new" my.audi.??? site, and I'm not able to send an address via Audi Connect.

That's what the VW thinks about the Audi customers. A little bit of ad blue into our face.

Yes the Beta site is c**p to say the least, appears to be directed to USA owners. Have used google to find the address of the old site to download maps but it now appears almost impossible to get into it. Perhaps a flood of Emails to them might get it resolved.....

I don't use a web address, I use the MMI Connect app in my phone. I've rarely ever sent from the computer (although I set that up years ago too) as sending from the phone is so convenient.

I'm sure most of u already know this but since u asked and I had forgotten, I went and checked how this works.

I use the MMI Connect app on my phone. when I want to send a location to the car, I search it up in MMI Connects 'myAudi dest.' section, which is simply a google map. once I find the location I just swipe it upwards and as I do, it shows my car on the screen and nicely with a little animation confirms that the destination successfully went to the car. I can also name the destination sent if I so wished. Next time I get into the car and go to the online destinations sure enough the destination would be there.

how this works is, if I login to myAudi.com it says my 'vehicle linked'. when I click on 'i', it shows the 'myAudi PIN' . the PIN is unique to the car's MMI (and can be shown on the MMI's settings I believe)

myAudi is getting worse - in fact now utterly uselss. Android update to the app yesterday. Now says "myAudi was updated" "Could not update vehicle data: An unknown error occurred. Please try again.". Account settings doesn't work either. It's been like this for 24hrs now. Awful, awful service from Audi.

Audi Connect or online traffic not working for me for about a week. It stopped working before for about a month and then started working but it's not working now again. Not much use anyway.
