Hi guys I'm searching for new maps for my nav unit but haven't been able to find which unit I have.

Mines a MY10, has DVD sat nav, dual SD slots (in the glove box) and AMI. Would I be right in thinking it's 3G basic?

Check mmi, setup, settings, version information. If you have bnav its basic if hnav(small joystick on top of big knob) its high version! If your old navigation map works from dvd disc then yes, you should have basic version.

You will have 3G, however if the navigation is run off DVD or SD card then forget about map updates, you will be able to download the discs but you will not be able to active them. If the navigation is run off the internal hard disk then you will be able to find what your looking for.
