    Hey guy's and ladies,
Sooooo I have a problem with the old golf. When the engine revs up enough for the turbo to spool the damn thing is sucking the air hose flat as if there is a massive vacuum being created somewhere. It's in the bit of rubber hose that comes up the front and around the left side of the engine. I'ts fine a low rpm, in the 1000's once it gets above that is when it sucks harder than an amsterdam whore. I'm guessing it's something stuck open or closed but what? Any ideas? Help would be much appreciated =)

A 1.9 TDI with a KKK turbo and a failed compressor/turbine shaft, the collapsing intake is a classic, breakdown people keep a big spiral spring on board to go inside the hose as a get you home fix.

Ahhh crap, thanks for the reply man. I was hoping it was just something stuck, had a feeling it was the turbo but didn't want to admit it haha.
