I think the delay is nearer half a second. Did this a couple of years ago with my allroad and timed 0 - 60 with dynolicious on an iPhone.
Just planting the accelerator in sport mode gave about 5.5 secs to 60 MPH (allroad is quoted at 5.6 secs to 100 kph / 62 MPH so that seems about right).
Following the launch control procedure (and I only reved it to 2800 - the both turbos are spooled up at that point) resulted in 4.9 secs to 60 MPH.
