    Hi,

This might be a bit of a stupid question as I really dont have much of a clue! Now that is cold, obviously the windows are steaming up...not unusal...but I switch the blowers on to clear it and it takes absolutly ages for the front windscreen to clear and also the side windows stay steamed up pretty much completely, I drive 12 miles to work and the windows are still misty...
the back is fine with the heated screen but I was wondering if the side windows staying steamed up is an indication of anything wrong?? or purely because its cold outside and warm inside?!

It could be condensation inside the car from damp or it could just be the cold, early starts.

If the "mist" is oily then you may have a problem but steamy windows are pretty normal

Considering selling my VCDS KEY-USB interface. If you're interested please contact me via PM or email.

Make sure the air con is on too!! Most people think this is just for when it is hot. It will help remove the moisture in the air and keep the windows clear.

Also make sure your windows are clean inside this will help.
