    Default 2003 1.8t Help! – 24-10-2007,09:54 PM
    when the car starts the red thermostat alarm/alert symbol turns on and keeps flashing but when i turn the car off and back on it doesnt...whats going on!!! help me please

    I would start by checking the coolant level in your engine coolant reservoir, chances are, it might be below the minimum level thus switching on the warning when you key on.

    '05 Leon PD150 --Went but came back again

    Disconnect the coolant header tank seder and bridge the wiring connector with some 0.30mm wire and recheck it,as long as the coolant level is between min and max then the level sender is light should nowgo out.Replace the header tank if this sorts it
