I've found a replacement sensor on eBay but it looks different to mine, not sure whether mine is original or the eBay one is. They both have different part numbers but the one on eBay says it's for the AKL

    Mine

    eBay one

Will this be fine for my AKL engine?

The sensor you need WAS VAG part number 06A 906 262 AK but changed to the Golf 5 version 1K0 998 262 which is a universal wideband sensor which fits a huge range of cars, however the cable is quite a lot longer at 1760-mm instead of 1140-mm, you have to bundle this up and tuck it away. I would only use a Bosch 0 258 006 978.
