I have a dead luggage and rear seat console 12v accessory socket. I understand the fuse box to be behind the right inset netted pocket. I've looked on Elsawin and there is no mention of this trim or it's removal but I cannot seem to remove it without excessive force. Any guidance welcome.

In the top of the netted compartment recess is a turn lock to allow you to remove the trim. You also need to do this if it is necessary to change a bulb in the rear light unit.

Thanks for the reply John, but there is no turn lock. The left has but not the recessed pocket in the right. I'd add pics but cannot see how they attach.

There's no turn lock on mine either, you force the bar holding the net out of the 2 lower clips and slide the net out of your way. Then turn the 2 clips 90 degrees and they come out, then the trim lifts up.

Also there's a 12V socket on the trim, watch out for the wires connected to that, there's plenty of slack to get at the fuses, just don't pull too hard on it

Thanks Silane, you are right on the money. It worked with ease and just lifted out. No force required. Interestingly I'd already rung Shrewsbury Audi service who checked with a tech. Their advice was also completely incorrect. Happily I now know how to get to the rear bank of fuses and my auxiliary sockets are now working.

Thought I was going mad but as the photo below shows the net cubby on my car definitely has a turn lock to secure it the top
