    im breaking an 2005 a6 c5 avant and i need to get the other doors open but they wont open from the fob or the inside any ideas as i dont want to really damage the door cards TIA

    It sounds like the central convenience unit (under the passenger footwell carpet) is dead.
    Are all fuses ok? Try removing the unit and check for water ingress.
    If it's still not responding, you could get a wiring diagram, and can work out which cables feed the deadlock motors, and power them up directly from a battery. If the loom is broken, then this can also be done by cutting a hole in the door card and finding the cables going to the locks and powering them up.
    Without the deadlocks opened, I think serious damage is needed to open the doors!

    If the key fob doesn't work it may need a new battery and or matching to the car.

    Does the spare work?

    If you start the car do the rear doors then open via the inside handle?

    I just had this last week when both my keys died, I had to fit new batteries and then match them to the car again before they would work.

    I'm suspicious something wiped them both within a week or do of each other.
