I would replace all 4 glow plugs firstly, always allow the glow plug light to go out & then wait 1 or 2 seconds before starting the car to prolong the life of them ...................... all year round

If the plugs are on their way out, then you can always pre heat the car twice before starting; an old trick that may start your car easier ................................... especially if really cold

I would also change the fuel filter first before playing with the fuel injectors, that's your cheapest option
    VW POLO 2002 1.2 12v , Audi A6 2006 2.0 TDi SE , Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi

All 3 cars in the current fleet
