    I'm thinking of lowering my golf mk5 1.9tdi by 30mm on eibach pro springs but is it worth it will you notice a drop or will there still be a huge gap

    well, tyres will be 30mm closer to the arches.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    That be std suspension alright and the full 30mm will be achieved , much needed .

    -30mm , definitely .

    Ideally I would renew the shocks with sport version Bilstein B4 , but I understand you are on a budget , how many miles have the shocks done ?

    Demon Tweeks is reputable but not the cheapest .

    German ebay will be cheaper .

    Best results renewing the dampers then , you won't regret it !

    German eBay often offer an Eibach Bilstein package at less than you think , don't skimp , it's like changing the clutch without a new dmf .
