Must be as good as the price tag says it is, if all you have to moan about is the windscreen washer warning light, lol.....

I was under the impression that most modern Audi's have this feature.... It may just be that the sensor needs cleaning, (check the water bottle connections) or the dash bulb is out????

I think the windscreen washer fluid low warning is incorporated into the Driver Information System(DIS). Which is an option, even on your car. Easiest way to check if you have DIS is if you have a reset button on the underside of your windscreen wiper stalk. This allows you to change between fuel range, driving time, average speed, average mpg and current mpg.

Look into the washer bottle and see can you see the switch about half way down with 2 prongs on it. If it has this, then it has the low level warning. Why its not coming up maybe because the DIS/Instrument cluster needs to be coded with VAG-COM or similar to tell it that it has low level warning.

Could well be coding as above post:

    Recode for warning lamps:
    17 - Instruments
    07 - Recode

Look at the first two digits in the coding. Add the values for the options together to get the correct coding.
    00 - No available equipment
+01 - Brake pad wear sensor warning active
    +02 - Seatbelt warning active
+04 - Washer fluid level warning active
    Just another B7 Estate

Just dug my owners book out, I'm bored.

Page 38. Washer fluid low level. Applies to vehicles with DIS and on board computer.

Don't know whether you can reprogram using vag-com.
