    Hey guys,

we have the usual steering wheel problem. We have the column out and we found out which switch is not working properly. We were gonna get a new switch and exchange. Problem is that we dont have a part number for the switch (the one on it doesnt bring any results in finding one). Where can we buy the right switch for this? We have found a lot of micro switches but non really fits the look of it.

Any help out there for us?

    Thank you.

    Kat

There are micro switches available from RS Components that look like the ones in use on the PCB but in reality are in reverse.

    Change both

The switches are by Mardquart. The package says schnappschalter Q1055.0351. They are Marquardt 1055.0351 Micro Switch 24V DC 2A IP67. Available from: http://www.conrad.com/ce/en/product/700265/Marquardt-10550351-Micro-Switch24Vdc-2A-IP67

Thank you very much for your answer. We will have a look and get both switches. I hope we can get this sorted.

Hi Richard. With regards to the link to Conrad, are these ones reversed or the right ones? Going by the picture on Martin's site these look to be the wrong way round?

The RS ones are the ones that are reversed. The Marquardt ones from Conrad are the correct ones that replace those mounted on the PCB

(Still need you to send me your email address via PM for the doc)
