Thanks again Andy, the front ones and mirrors definitely don't sweep which I was surprised about as I thought they were std on Sline '18. Is there a quick way to check and confirm?

Andy, I think you are right (in fact always right :-)), I just checked the 2018 brochure for Sline and it states "LED headlights with LED rear lights and dynamic rear indicators". Since I don't see them when driving I never checked, but assumed they would be the same as the fronts and mirrors.

For some reason the Q7 even with Matrix LEDs has never had sweeping front indicators. Could well be different now tho with the facelift.

Rears are standard dynamic sweeping as mentioned by Andy. Wing Mirrors aren’t but there is a neat £45 LED wing mirrors kit from AliExpress which is straight plug and play to make them dynamic (there’s a thread here somewhere)

Yeah mate, Front LEDS and Wing Mirrors don't sweep. Just stick your hazards on and walk round the back of your car to check!

As Nemo said, there is a thread where you can buy a set of aftermarket sweeping LEDs for wing mirrors. I few folk here have done the swap.

Andy, yes I already saw your posts and vid on the Ali DI's install, however I must say I am not big fan of the looks of these. The indicator glass looks misty from online pictures but I could be mistaken?
Do you know if the outer OEM clear glass / plexiglass is interchangeable with the one on the Ali's version?

Yeah, they arent Misty per-se, but more opaque(y)....

Dont know if changable.. I doubt it, they are sealed I recall but maybe with a heat gun you may be able to swap them... etc
