Not that you'll be looking at it for a while now, but check intake throttle flap V157 ( just upstream of EGR valve) is open when trying to start, easy to check if you drop the intake pipe off and hold a mirror under the throttle housing. I had one fail on my 1.9. didn't throw up a fault code but eventually failed in closed position.

Hi I'm having this cranking / startup issue on a Golf GT TDI 57 reg 170 Bhp which has a BMN engine with DSG gearbox
    VCDS throws the code below.

Sometimes the car starts and drives okay others it has to be cranked 2 or three times before it starts. As of late the car also stops and then has problems starting and you have to wait a few mins and then try and start it. It is usually okay after that.

The crank sensor was changed along with the transmission side seal / ring from Eurocarparts. The car would not start at all. So a sensor was purchased from the dealers and changed.

Though the car is starting we still keep having issues with car taking extended crank time or stopping when being driven.

What has been replaced so far

    Crank Sensor
    Transmission side seal / ring
Fuel pump in tank which was not sending fuel through when sensor was changed
Fuel Filter and the mechanism on top of filter this also seemed to be getting fuel in but not sending it out.

The garage did notice that the wiring coming from the crank sensor had been cut and then wired back towards the ECU.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Reading the data that you posted , it says rpm 128 , it will never start unless it see's a minimum of 280 rpm. So why would that be? Have you tried charging the battery? Cold cranking amps is everything these day's.
