Hey people, not been around for a while.
Basically my sharan has been perfect.... Weird right?
Anyway im getting judder under load and been through everything it could possibly be so the only thing left is a failing dmf, it has been rattling when cold so it needs doing!
Im an engineer, welder, fabricator so im just going to weld up my dmf, re balance it and fit a sprung clutch.
My problem is, what clutch plate fits that has the springs in?
    Im with 2002 7m pd115
Any input would be awesome, by the way, my sharan is on 400k km and still going strong, just cant justify the cost of a new dmf kit on this old bus and its basically used just for the school run.
    Thanks
    Craig
    And merry Christmas

well, lets look at the question, i want to weld up my dmf, what clutch should i fit, who the heck is going to be able to answer that. either fit a new dmf or if you really must, a smf conversion , which is highly un recommended. if you want a clutch to fit a dmf then you will need to trawl the web and or parts books to find it.
most people use this forum as i do, looking only at new posts, so which section its in is irrelevant. i saw this question pop up a while back and though, no one will answer that, but i bet i end up having to in a few days, so yeah, crystal balls and all that

Here you go - single mass flywheel kit, by the time you've welded and balanced the old flywheel you could probably have spent the same time / money and just fitted this. Reckon it'll be dog rough, either welded or witn SMF though.
