    Hi,

    My daughter has just bought a 2003 1.2.polo and the engine cover is loose and rattles. How does the cover come off. i cant find any screws, tried pulling and it wont lift.

    It pulls off but it takes quite a lot of force.

    there's rubber mountings that would come out before it snaps

    Just pull them i have a 1.2 petrol polo and i thought mine was going to break but i just gave it a good pull and it came off! Hope this helps.

    just pull it right off... give it force, but be very careful i actually managed to snap the plastic underneith on the front left part......there is 4 rubber seals holding it on.....one on each corner......also on the right hand side you have two small (one smaller than the other) pipes to pull of (yes just pull them) so once you feel all 4 come off lift gently then pull them two as well as the intake on the front right

    hope this helps.....

    Small bit of advice.....super glues works for about 2 months of every day usage if you do manage to snap the plastic on the under side, so dont worry too much if you do break it....bit of super glue does the trick
