    I have a single light in my boot, it's been up-rated to an LED, and currently won't work.

    * I don't think it's the LED part because I've put a multimeter across the terminal/plug and don't get a voltage.
    * I don't think it's the boot latch microswitch because the dash display shows me the boot is open
    * I can't see a fuse labelled for this.

    Any ideas?

    (I had the same the other day, but noticed it was only because I had the boot open for ages, and when I shut it and opened again it worked. Also I read somewhere to lock and unlock the car 5x, which I did but it did nothing)

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

    Remove the LED anyway and measure then. It could be that LED is shorted.

    That was exactly it thanks.

    Broken wire in LED causing short. Have 12v to the terminal, and I'll solder the LED later.

    Cheers

    Same thing happened me. No blown fuse to be found. So the fix is to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. All sorted when you reconnect it.
