    Hi

Using VCDS and following this guide, Ross-Tech: VCDS Tour: SRI Reset I cant manage to reset the service reminder. VCDS resets all data and according to VCDS their should not be any service reminder active. It is set to 0 insted of 1.

And in the car the mmi shows that I have 1500/365 days to the next service.

But also that Service due is 2 days ago, also in the headup display, when I start or shut down the car, it says Service Due.

How do I get rid of it?
Im running the latest build of VCDS from your webpage.

    Regards

They are very involved to do, just doing one in a few mins. You have to go into adaptations and work your way through.

I don't like the Audi intervals method and the VCDS screen against MMI display language is ambiguous in calling an oil change a service and a service is an inspection. I have my own way now, I set them all to 9400 miles (150 K) and 365 days for an oil chnage and 18800 and 730 days for an inspection. Like the A5 I just did, we did an inspection service last time and the mileages did work out even just resting the service so I tweaked them so they show next time it needs an inspection again. It has taken me a few years to find a set-up I like, now VAG are going over to the electronic service book idea-part of me finds it irritating having to fill it out but it stops the book being lost.

    Okej,

So I have found what I where doing wrong.

I had to set "Fixed oil service reset (rest of the world)" and "Time based service reset (rest of the world / great britain)"

    Then All warnings gone away.

    Thanks anyway!!
