    Hi everyone,

Finally got hold of my Q7 yesterday Needless to say I'm super happy! Pictures will follow during the weekend when I have a bit more time.

Browsing through all the different gimmicks in the car, I ran into an issue though with the ambient lighting. I'm able to select the predefined color schemes like "pulse red" and "maritime blue", but as soon as I select the individual scheme where I can chose a custom color, the ambient lighting is turning completely off. I selected different colors, lower and higher intensities, but nothing seems to work in the individual ambient lighting mode.

Did anyone encounter this issue? Or am I doing something wrong?

Need to head over to the dealer to have some tire pressure sensors installed on my winter rims next week, so will address the issue there as well.

    Cheers,
    Sven

Hi Sven, I seem to remember that the default for individual was a colour that you then changed (white??). I don't think I've seen it turn off.

At least it does work so hopefully a quick software fix.

Indeed! Colour of the individual on mine was white and brightness set to the lowest.

Thanks guys for the replies. There's definitely something wrong with mine in that case. Will have it looked at by the dealer next week.

So...Brought my car in this morning to have the tire pressure sensors installed, and let them have a look at the ambient light issue. Yesterday evening, I discovered that the ambient lighting in individual mode is working perfectly when I open the car with my wife´s key... Let´s see if they are able to find the issue. Will update here.

Tire pressure sensors are fitted, ambient lighting personalization still not working with one key. Not a very big deal, but I want it to work, so next week the car is going back in for the day.

Yes, I have the one where you can see the individual settings in the MMI. They forgot to order the sensors for my set or winter wheels.

UK cars dont get the more "advanced" TPMS system, we just get a basic version, not individual wheel display for each wheel unfortunately.

Is that due to the pressure sensing valves or a different software in the UK cars? I like being able to see the individual pressures in my current car and if it was something that could be done with new valves or coding I might look into it.
