Been having cold start misfires for a while now, decided to go through some diagnostics using this excellent guide:

VCDS AND PD TDI ENGINE HEALTH CHECK - PASSAT

Blue is coolant temp which tops out at 94.5C - is this bad? The guide says if it goes over 90 it's not working properly. It was replaced earlier this year but with an aftermarket one rather than genuine. Green is the fuel temp graph which I'm guessing is ok since it more or less tracks the coolant temp but is about 30C lower. The guide said it should be "a few degrees" lower.. not sure if this is a problem.

Yellow is intake air temp which seems to be all over the place so I'm guessing that one is donald ducked. It peaks at 25C on a night when the ambient air temp was between 4-6C.

So I'm thinking replace the air intake temp sensor and possibly also the coolant temp sensor as well, unless it reading 94.5 isn't actually a problem?
