    Hi,

I need to change the pads on my 2002 Golf Tdi 150. What is the standard size of the brakes on this model: 280mm or 288mm?

I want to buy the pads online and get a local garage to fit them. In this way the ******** can't pull my pants down

    Cheers,

    Mark

    Thanks mate!

Do you know what they are on the back as standard, 232mm (solid) or 256mm (vented)?

standard rears will be 232 I imagine. 256 is quite big for back brakes, and on a TDI they backs only do about 5% of the stopping. This is why I'm still on standard setup on the back, but have 323mm 4 pot brembos on the front.

    232x9 solid. I have upgraded a number of 150 PD TDI's (after fitting a tuning box) to 312 fronts a 256 rears.
