Rear marker lights Audi S4 Quattro 2013

Hi,

We moved to Barcelona and they are asking us to change our rear marker lights from red to orange. I have looked everywhere and asked Audi how to replace the rear lights but they say no orange versions exist that they know of. Has anyone else had and/or solved this problem?

It is a 2013 S4 Quattro, 245 kW, 333 HP, gas V6.

Any help is much appreciated!

Hi, Gunnark,

This is the USA version and it has four rear LED lights that illuminate when you use the turn signals (so we have to replace 4 LED lights, two on right and two on left). I have taken a photo of them and included it below. Is that not standard on the German 2013 S4? Thank you very much!

Ok, gotcha, you ment turnsignal. Yes you need to retrofit eu lights, im not sure are connectors same for facelift b8 eu vs usa, but if not, you need modify harness and coding. Audi probably mixed up with rear sidemarker. But if dealer will do the retrofit, they will charge huge amount of money, including new comfort module.

So, if you care about money buy used eu lights, if connectors are different, you need to buy those also etc and costum coding of module 46. Sorry dont know local retrofitters in Spain.
Euro rear light top bar are yellow for inner and outer lights and turnsignal blinking separate, not like in usa "red"!

Is it not just coding? I thought the white/clear strip was just for reverse in the US, where as in ROTW half is reverse and outer half is indicator? Just change outer bulb to Amber and recode.

Am I wrong?

I am lost

Where is second white light in FL lights which you can use for reverse after replacing outer bulb for yellow? The only bulb on those lights is reverse and white as far i know, all rest are leds and not white, OP can clarify for NA type. It was possible with halogen and preFL lights!

I was looking at the picture attached above. The ones in the trunk would be white then the outer ones ones would be Amber. Are both of these LED? I thought was only brake / tail was led?

I have inside of inner light "clear/white bar" 3 or no idea how many red leds for fog, i dont belive NA sedan has there white leds inside, no bulb 100% if catalogue is correct!

Thank you very much, Gunnark. I hope I am able to find someone who can install a used EU light, possibly change the electrical connection, and recode module 46. The Audi dealers here say there is nothing they can do, including rewiring the car.
