Has anybody updated their Nav maps?

Do you need to install every map, or can you just update the UK segment?

How long does it take to update in reality? I've heard it takes hours and hours and the car needs to be on while it's updating: as my ignition turns itself off if not used for a while does that mean I need to have the engine running for that period?

Usually takes me about 15-20 mins and that's a full install of all the European maps. You can turn off the car no problem the update pauses until you start the car again. As for segments you can install whatever map segments you want, if you only want UK then install just the UK map
