I have the A4 S-Line - The Sub-Woofer sounds like it's blown if I turn up the bass and volume.

I took it back to Audi, they changed the Sub but the problem is still there. So they listened to another A4 of the same spec and it sounds the same. They even padded out the parcel shelf to see if it was vibrating.

Does anyone else find the bass quality poor?

It's not the Bose, just the standard system.

I think every post I have seen regarding the stock sound system, people have been unhappy with it. One person in the Q7 forum actually swapped the 6" for an 8" with some minor cutting and said the difference was night and day. From my experience installing car audio, pretty much any good aftermarket equal sized speaker always sounds better than the stock in terms of sound quality.

The Stock sound system isn't great. I went from a B8 to a new Avant, both sline and the new one isn't a patch on the old one.
