    Hi guys,

I recently had a issue with the fault code p2020 intake manifold, common problem
I know but I've changed the swirl flaps and motors on both sides, but in doing so to gain access you have to remove a fuel line. Now my car wont start but cranks over, it doesn't even sound like its getting fuel to it but I''m sure mines the self priming one. Just to let you know before the manifold issue it wasnt starting intermittently. I've wiped the fault codes and have no more coming back up. Do you think it could be an air lock? If so how do i bleed the fuel? Thanks

When I change my fuel filters on my A6 year 2006, I fill them up with clean fuel. It takes longer than I would like to turn the engine over before it fires up if I relied on the self bleed . I think its too long and was terrified of overheating the starter.

It wasn't a problem on the year 2000 model however, so if you want, take off the filter and fill it up to speed things up.

Ive got a code reader and the faults was to do with the intake manifold but now i've swapped them they are no fault codes currently stored so I'm puzzled.
