I have been looking at getting the VIM, (Video in Motion), unlocked on my new Audi A4 2016. I have found some peopel on ebay, and a company in Northamptonshire, but they all charge around £90.
From the research I have done, this can be done potential using a VCDS cable, or even by putting an SD card with some software preloaded into the car which then auto updates the settings.

Does anyone here know how to activate the VIM on this model car, and be prepared to drop me a quick message/guide on how to do this? Im relatively good at Technology but this has me stumped and even google doesn't seem to be much use!!

After much googling I have ordered a device called OBDEleven. It's a Bluetooth dongle that plugs into the Audi and then there is an Android app you download to your phone/tablet. You can unlock VIM with one click, and can also check on any error codes that appear on the car to get an idea of what is going on, great bit of kit! (Stick OBDEleven into google, you want to buy the PRO version which is about 57 euros, £47, so cheaper than the £90 which I was going to pay!!) The dongle takes 3-7 days to arrive as the company is based in Lithuania, company is fully legit though and has plenty of great reviews.
The UK company I found is In St Albans and if you google "hazzydayz Audi" their website will come up. You just need to email your Chassis number and they will confirm they can activate VIM, it's £80 +vat I believe. Otherwise stick "Audi VIM 2016" into eBay and a few other people who offer the service will pop up.
(Forum mods, please note I have no affiliation to any of the company's or products listed above).
