    Hello all,

This is my first post as I've only had my A4 Avant since April and had no trouble with it until I got a Labrador Puppy.

I have a full boot liner and he has since out grown a smaller crate I got from a friend. Thinking he'd be ok in the boot I was looking at getting a guard and divider but he has started to chew the liner and even got to the 12v socket wiring so a crate is needed.

I've looked at a few and found the following which is a little expensive Car Dog Cages, Crates & Transit Boxes for Audi A4 Avant 2009-2014 | TransK9

I have also found the following but I'm not sure if it will fit, http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/d...s/metal/384895

Does anyone else use a crate for their dog? where did you get it and what are the sizes?

I have a lab too (6 months old) - fortunately for me she doesn't chew the car..... just everything else; so no crate, however, somthing like this could work. I suspect it all depends on how long your journeys are going to be and how big the dog gets but it's a cheaper option that the one your considering?!

a friendly pet shop that has cages that allows you to put in car for a test might be the best

try pets at home as they have cages built for display purposes

Currently trying to find a 2nd hand TransK9 cage myself, everyone swears by them

Just another thought though as this is something I have just bought for the interim

    A4 Avant (2008-2015) - Boot Buddy

Covers all the sides including the electronics, if you can pick one up 2nd hand we worth a try
