Flat Battery Combined with Broken drivers side door lock. Cannot get into car

Hi All,

a bad combination of events has left me unable to get into my car at all! 1st. The drivers side door lock broke before I went on holiday.Previously, part of the door handle mechanism broke off and jammed the lock so the door would not stay closed without locking the car and I assume something similar happened again. 2nd. I came back after traveling for a month and found that the battery had died completely. This isn't the first time the battery had drained completely so I tried the key within the fob in the hidden lock in the drivers side door. This however did not work (I assume due to the issue with the driver side door lock).

Is there any way to get into the car/bonnet so I can charge the battery and take the door apart to investigate the lock issue?

even if I can get into the car by if all else fails, breaking a window, you cant open the door because of the jammed locking mechanism, and you cant open the bonnet because the release hatch requires the door to be open
