I need to set up an email account for my android device but I think it might be under History. Will check tomorrow

Module 17 corresponds to the number in the little green circle - as you say Dashboard.

    Following Andy's instructions:

    Coding:

    1. Module 17 (Instruments)

    2. Coding

    3. Long Coding - this is where you select 1 in top right

    4. Long Coding Helper - ignore

    5. Byte 1 (Second from left) - use green right arrow to move one step so Byte 01 is shown

    6. Tick/Select "Bit 0" - this will be the first row, select the check box and then apply the change and you're done

    7. Exit

    8. Do It - ignore

To undo the change, do the same steps as above but uncheck Byte 01, Bit 0.

One thing that I thinks been mentioned before, to see needle sweep, you need to turn ignition on, wait for Audi logo / car to disappear and dials shown before starting engine.

Haven't done it for a while but I think after performing a scan there's an envelope icon in upper right you click and enter your email address ( hopefully going to get time to do a few more changes tomorrow night so will confirm if nobody else has by then).

Once you've made changes, if you go to Settings - Garage - Click on your Q7 - History - tap the mail icon at the top right.

This will send all the changes you've made including before and after settings.

Here's my settings - as you can see, the long coding change isn't easy to understand so my preference is to keep a manual log of what you've changed:

Glad it's helpful. With the lap timer, did you start it running and then drive off? From memory it doesn't show on the HUD until you move

Spot on...I was looking at it whilst standing still but later when driving it came on to HUD.
