Noise... what is it?

i just picked up a 2003 1.8 audi T Sports cabriolet... its all good expect there is a knocking/rattle noise coming from the part where the roof meets the windscreen.. its more to the passengers side & happens when driving in London going over uneven road surface or a drain plate/small pot hole or even a road hump..what could it be? what can i do?

hi if you open the roof half way you will see an allan bolt on the roof fame . try tighting it on both the drivers side and passengers. Then spray all the hinged pars with a silicon spray (cockpit trim shine) this should cure it . it did to mine .

hi i use a cleaner i got from a classiic restorer a firm called WOLLIES good stuff . also auto glim do a good water repelant . papalion
