Was just about to book for upcoming holiday and noticed it said cars must fit in a standard space, 2.4m x 4.8m. Well the 4M is 5.05m long according to the spec sheet!

Anyone used any of the operators without getting charged extra for an oversize vehicle?

If you're worried, maybe try meteor - they aren't official, but are recommended by scott Dunn (£££ holidays!) we've used 4 times in a 3 series at both Gatwick and Heathrow and to be fair drop off and collection have both been great

    howeverno idea about size limits...

Your best to call them and tell them that your standard vehicle is a skittle bit longer than the dimensions they mention and usually they will reserve you a bay either at the end of a row or in their disabled bays. That's what they did for my brother in law when he used to drive a Cadillac Escalade (spent too much time in the states!). That thing was over 5.5 metres long!

I thought about it and in the end went for short stay premium in the south terminal and used a voucher I found on Google to bring the cost down to £200 p/w. Not cheap but had peace of mind knowing I was parked with a decent gap either side.

Next time just use "Just Park", I can recommend a particular family who live 1.8 mils from Heathrow their house is in a private access road, the house is gated with a large drive way for sage and secure parking. The owner is amazing. If you book a few days in advance, he'll usually run you to the airport and acknowledge too if you want. Failing which it's a £9 cab fare.
I last parked in his place in July for a week when I went to Cape Verde and it cost £30.

Where are you exactly? It's never too far away for a chauffeur driven Airport Transfer in a lovely Q!
