    03 = Operational Mode (no idea what this means, have seen set to 05 for Q3, 07 ???)
    01 = External Amp (02 if internal i.e non B&O) it shud be vice versa for A4 as i read.
    00 = Sound Profile (no idea about this either 01)
    00 = No info
    00 = No info
    00 = No info
    01 = Chassis (01 is A5/A4 etc, 02 is Q3 I think, 00 is Q7)

    The Coding worked now to get the Component Protection removed on Tuesday.

    The last set of digits must mean that the A6 is 00.

    Glad to help, yep last byte is 00 for A6, but i played with those codes a bit in past, including last byte....did not see any difference or change with byte 2 operation mode, byte 4 sound profile and last one as well, so who knows how important those really are. Enjoy new radio!

    Now just one more question.

    I did a firmware update on the radio unit and now its working fine, the Component Protection fault is still logged in the faults page.

    Will the Component Protection kick in again or not.

    Not fully sure what you asking regarding "again"....but cp needs to be removed(usual dealers job) if you retrofit used unit(this you know) and sometimes cp kicks in during sw update as well, but in this case you are able to remove this error with vcds!

    Thanks Gunnark100,

    What i mean is that the radio is now working fine, with no cutting out as it did before the software update.

    Only the fault code remains.

    Will the radio start to cut out if i leave the radio as is.

    Im not sure, as usual case is sound cuttoffs are due difference in sw stand or even wrong radio or gateway after hole retrofit and MU cp is related to sound. So i dont know, what is "only" radio "symptom" if cp is active. I would probably still go and remove cp, but you can wait as well, until you notice something which is not normal.

    Here, guy has cp active in amp but all good
