    Default Increased fuel consumption – 29-09-2016,06:02 PM
    Is it possible the temp sender on my 130tdi Awx could be the cause of poor starting when hot and an increase in fuel consumption and black smoke after a few miles...I had the clutch and flywheel done and since this was done I have had the difficult starting when hot and also once the engine is warm it does not like pulling at low revs.So is it reasonable to suspect the sender? Any advice appreciated...

    Check all your vac pipes especially if it's only started since you had work done

    just disconnect it & see if it helps
    VW POLO 2002 1.2 12v , Audi A6 2006 2.0 TDi SE , Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDi

    All 3 cars in the current fleet
