Does anyone know if a fixing kit like in the picture is still available anywhere? I've not seen anything on e-bay recently and although I did not want to pay £160 for it, the Stoke Audi shop still advertised them. However I have just received an e-mail from them saying it has been discontinued and they don't have any in stock.

I have one. They are pretty useless to be honest. Might be why the discontinued them.

There is the strap part on eBay now if you search Audi luggage. I find it very useful, and got mine off eBay a year ago.

Another option is these volkswagen cargo blocks if you can find them.

Velcro backed right angle blocks that stick to the boot floor mat quite strongly. My brother came across them in the VW Jetta Wagon (Estate) he bought his daughters for University travel and he tried them in his A6. Worked a treat so he picked a set up. They are something stupid like $20 for a set of 4 in the US but I struggle to find them here - gonna get him to see if he can get me a set and bring them over.

Here Volkswagen Cargo Organizer Blocks ZVW380301 but US site... I guess £30 or £35 for a set of 4 here

Thanks ukgrouchou. It's a shame I didn't know about these earlier, as I just returned from the US. The ones I saw in the UK so far were £70, so I will keep looking.

Turns out my brother is going to rip the ones from the back of his daughters VW and bring those for me - it's one of the dirty diesels and in California they are all being bought back by VW and sent to scrap. Seems a horrible waste....

You may be able to get some shipped internationally although not sure what that would cost.
And before anyone asks "Yes" they do stick to the regular A6 boot liner you don't need the special mat that VW sells.
