Do all b7 have air con?

It's been b@stard hot today and with my blower set to cold I'm still not getting any cold air.
ive searched the forum and web a lot and found nothing about which variants of the b7 have or haven't got air con.

my controls look just like the others I've seen.

my cars spec is in my signature.

Yes they do.

Is your ECON light illuminated permanently? There may be an air con fault in your car possibly.

No it's not illuminated.
Only when I press it does it light up.
I'd read that if it stays illuminated then there can be a fault with the air con.

I guess mine must be out of gas.
Replace pollen filter and get the system serviced?

Most likely its low on gas,with the weather over the last six weeks been cool and now you've placed high demand on it and it can't cope.

I've only had the car 3 months so had no call for air con until now.
Car is ex MOD and had not been used for a few months prior to my ownership as it was "for disposal".

I thought it was climate control not air con? As they are very different things. Mine has climate control and I always use it unless I have the windows open.

Climate control is air con with a thermostat.

Whether it's a/c or climate isn't going to make any different to the OPs problem. It's like comparing two fridges: one with auto de-frost and one without. Both are still fridges.

Ok, I thought it would as they are asking what cars have air con or not so I guess I am saying do some have air con and others have climate control. Climate control with dual zones is more useful than just air con and a bit more complicated than just a straight air con system.
