    Hi everyone.
    I'm since a few months the owner of an A6 C7 2.0tdi 163hp from 2012 (second hand cause I'm only 23)
Love the ride! Really love it but i have one major problem. The clutch judders in first gear, not always but 9/10 times it does. Car only has 93.000 km right now.

I already looked here on the forum and found a topic about this problem but no one that found the right solutions. Topic is also from a while ago.
The cost of a DMF and clutch set at the dealer is more than €2000.
I can't find any clutch or DMF aftermarket witouth the audi brand logo on it ( LUK or Sasch).
Also saw in other topics that this is only a temporary solution
Any one who has experience or a solution for this problem?

    I have got a 2011 A6 2.0 Tdi. An I had the exact same issue.😐

I tool the car to Audi Liverpool, and they could not recreate the issue. I then took the car to an Audi specialist, same, could not find an issue. Finally, I took it to a clutch specialist... You guessed it... Couldn't find a thing wrong.

An the same as you it was 9/10 times... Man I was pulling my hair out over it. Felt like nobody believed me.

Okay, so my fix. I literally just changed my driving style. That's it. I came from a petrol, so i was used to a nice smooth an quiet take off. To rev the engine seemed like I was revving the balls off it. But I was wrong.

Its a simple fix for me. Am not saying it will be the same for you. I advise you taking it to the relevant specialists to have them confirm all is well! Then maybe just apply a lil more rev when you move off, see how you get on.

Take it or leave it but that's all I can give you pal. Good luck

Yes it driving me nutz too. And sure if you know the A6 should be a prestige car.
And indeed when i launch very slowly witouth giving gas it works. Also when i give more gas then normal it works but i'm scared that i will do more damage to the clutch that way.

Sounds like you dmf, quite a common problem, had mine fixed under warranty.
Some have had some goodwill gestures from audi, but all depends on service history etc.
    Good luck!

Yeah. That's what I think too but i read on forums that sometimes it doesn't fix the problem or it comes back after a 10k miles.
Don't want to waste all that money for something won't be fixed. Just a little bit scared. How long do you have the new DMF now? Did you have the same problems?

Mine went at 20k and was ok at 35k but i have changed my car now.
It felt really nice when i got it back because it had got quite bad without me really realising it.
I am led to believe that some go on forever and some fail relatively early.....all luck of the draw.

It could possibly be an engine mount issue.

Bought mine as new and has now done around 10k -
Noticed a similar judder but in my case it seems only to happen in a certain way of driving ... primarily moving from a parked state for about 3-4 seconds, stopping and then going into reverse.
At this point there is a judder between the stop and going into reverse almost to the point of it feeling like it has stalled (its an auto)
I'll get it checked one day but it's so difficult to replicate...

67000 miles and on my 3rd clutch. First 2 replaced under warranty. This one is now exactly the same as the others. Ruined what has been an OK car for me and will probably ensure I don't buy another Audi.
