What do you get on your centre dash MFD?

I've got the early JVC Connects2 interface that didn't have any MFD readout apart from "Audio" -ACTIVE- screen. My Mute and Phone buttons don't do anything. Spoke with the techie who worked on the design who said he hadn't done anymore than what I've got. So dunno whether they've upgraded now from those five years ago

Although I can control most functions of the HU and change radio station on either FM or DAB and change track on either USB device, SD Card, or CD, still need to glance down off the road onto HU screen to select Voice Dial for Bluetooth connected 'phone by two touch screen presses. Autoanswer works fine no matter what part of the HU I'm using

If you only want Bass presence then an under seat amp (I got a cheepo second hand one off eBait that Halfords used to sell) and it just gives me that lift there. Has wired remote volume and mute switch

Did Connects2 tell you what your loom and interface was actually for? Car? HU Make?

Dash MFD - Same menu options etc as before. Trip/MPG/etc Mute Button works on the Steering wheel. I can answer calls from the wheel also.

I have not tried voice dialing yet but i doubt if this will work from the wheel or from the pioneer. I also need to try and see how to make a phone call from my HU. (Baby Steps lol)

Bass wise I am covered. I have got a 1000wrms Vibe Amp and a 3000wrms Pioneer Champion 12" sub going in the boot :-)

When I spoke to Connects2 I told them what Car, HU Make and HU Functions it had as I think there is another cable which supports Nav in some way.

    Hope that Helps,

    Zaff
