I've seen this somewhere. I think it's in the sunroof module. Check the long coding in there as a start.

    Ive not tried it personally.

I was able to figure out the wink and taillights in with DRLs if they haven't already been posted.

    For my 2019 US model.

I went into central electronics (09), then coding (07)-long coding helper.

It's under Byte 3, which should read 2B once you make the change.

I checked bit 3 for "SI & DRL active"
Then in the drop down under Bit 5-7 I selected the "20 DRL at indication config dimming".

This appears to dim the DRL to 20% when you indicate instead of turning it off entirely. Also the taillights are always on now. There were a few other selections in that drop down that may keep the DRLs brighter but I didn't have time test those combinations.

    Thanks Keebler21

Its under Byte 2 for reference

In the UK, we have "sl_at_drl,active" enabled from factory so when we indicator the DRL's just "dim" by default. I guess in the US its different.

Our Bits 5-7 are set to "00 drl_at_indication_config,full_available". Ill see which combo keeps the taillights always on. Thats a good one to have.

Appreciate you sharing this info with the community. Once I've worked out the other permutations I'll update the main page.

Does anyone know the coding for Lane Assist? I've followed this post, Repost: Coding for turning on Audi Active Lane Assist (all cars with pre sense) - AudiWorld Forums, but for module 44 I get Out of Bounds error.

The correct coding is byte 2 bit 0.

Hello everyone - new forum member here.
Would anyone here possibly know the correct coding to disable the automatic rear wiper when Reverse gear is selected with the front wipers activated? The automatic rear wiper function can be a pain if the front wiper control is left in the "Auto" mode position (for example) and there's no need for a wipe of the rear window -- particularly for those times when it's not raining and the rear window is dry!

As ref.. here's a link to a same-topic thread posted in the AudiWorld Q5 MKI (8R) forum back in 2016:
Turn off automatic rear wiper when in reverse? - AudiWorld Forums

As info I use the OBDeleven device to make coding changes to my Audi vehicle.

    Regards, Richard
