I haven't worked out why the timer in the hud doesn't run. Very weird.

I'd love to just get the gear display showing with the sat nav info in the hud. Oil temp sits right over the sat nav directions if you flick between them

    Hi andyhud007,

Thanks for the great coding. The security code provided for Mod 13 isn't working. I'm using the OBDeleven, is there another code that would be needed to access this module?

    Thanks again.

It's an issue with OBDEleven apparently. A guy on Audiworld is working with them to resolve.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I have another question regarding the double-beep on opening. I have set it from none to double-beep but I don't get any beeps. I was able to change the lock from single to double successfully and back again but the unlock doesn't change. I even reset the MMI. Is there anything I'm missing? Maybe a prerequisite setting to enable for the beep on unlock to work?

    Thanks again.

JMbird, yes there is. I've been meaning to post all the coding changes for lock/unlock/indicator flashes/chriping.. I'll get it done this weekend.

Mine is 2 beeps on lock (+ two indicator flashes) and 1 beep on unlock (+ 1 unlock flash)

    Apologies. Andy

I have recently enabled this for a friend on his Superb:

Enabling boot closing from keyfob and interior button using VCDS - Skoda Octavia III (2013 onward) - BRISKODA

Frustratingly however I still haven't found a way to do this on the Q7 4M. Has anyone managed to do this for vehicles without the advanced key yet?

Mica, something we are looking into. Can you screengrab the 2 screenshots from that link and post here?

I believe the drivers door boot lid button will close the boot too, but only when the engine is running. This is with the standard key etc. Its a start but not perfect...
