Hmm, rather worryingly, Module 46 no longer responds and I can't open it.

Thanks again Andy. Enabled the single chirp on lock & unlock so only needed to do these 3 steps from your instructions:

    1) Enable the "Tone when Locking" option in the MMI by checking byte 4 / bit 6 - great that you can just turn off in the MMI
    2) Enable adaptation "beep_at_opening"
    3) Set adaptation "beeptime_opening_central_locking" to "single_beep"

    This was done with OBDeleven.

You using ODBEleven? or VCDS + Hex-Net?

Leave car for 15 minutes to allow the can-bus to silence and try again.

Ran a full scan this morning and Module 46 doesn't appear in that either. Anyway of addressing the module direct? i.e. do I just type 46 into the box and press go as per this page? http://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/tour/scm_screen.php

Typing 46 doesn't work. Just can't access that controller. Remote lock/unlock and opening/closing of windows and sunroof all work still.

Hmm, very strange. have you flashed your Hex-Net dongle with the latest firmware from Ross-Tech?

You have a lot of malfunctions too.. that isnt right. Are you sure you have pressed ignition button once so electrics are on before doing the Auto Scan??

Yes, did that this morning. Downloaded 16.8.3 yesterday evening.

VCDS knows that Module 46 but it can't initiate contact.
