I'm looking at these wheels for my 07 A6 Avant in a staggered fitment 8.5j front and 9.5j rear both with an et of 42 19"x9.5" OEMS 111 5x112 et45 smf-Alloy Wheels - Autoalloys.com Supplier of alloy wheels Northern Ireland The guide says they will not fit, is this correct? I really like deep concave wheels so would really like to have the staggered setup.

I did ask the same question about another set of wheels in the ultimate wheel guide thread but it along with loads more posts seems to have been deleted...

57 A6 2.0 tdi 140 SE. Standard except for MMI Basic + and a remap by Expert Tuning, and a want list as long as the equator!

Ok thanks. I'm assuming et42 would have the rim sticking out more? And the wheels I'm looking at are another half inch wider. I'm thinking I may just get 8.5 front and rear because with the 9.5's I'd need at least a 275 rear tyre without them being stretched into the rim, which is a bit silly for a 2.0tdi I think, and I want a decent sidewall for a bit of rim protection.

I have good as no sidewall protection, my wife's driving will prove that
275 would also cause massive issues

Would 275's rub the arches then? Found some AXE CS Lite's which they say will fit in 9.5 et40. Would 265's look stretched on a 9.5 rim?

Oh and it's currently not lowered on standard SE springs. I'm planning on lowering it 30mm with some Eibach springs and possibly Pro Kit with the shock absorbers too.

8.5 and ET43's fit so your suggested ET45 definitely will.

Most of the stock 19" rims are around that anyway.

Cool. I may have actually decided on some wheels after 4 weeks of solid searching!
